Born in England, equestrian photographer and TFCS Photography Mentor, Cara Grimshaw, was raised surrounded by horses, resulting in a lifelong passion for the majestic animals.
In 2000, she immigrated to Ontario, Canada and shortly after, moved to her current home in Vancouver in 2003. Cara attended Langara College’s Photography Certificate program, and started gaining experience in all areas of photography, including attending the London 2012 Olympics as an editorial technician.
It was where she rediscovered her passion for horses after a hiatus from equestrianism for a few years, and subsequently began working with clients. Utilizing her experience and knowledge from over 10 years in office management, personal assistance, project coordination and administration, Cara founded Cara Grimshaw Photography in early 2015. Cara now travels the globe covering sports action and commercial imagery for high-end equestrian brands, sponsors, venues and teams.
